My family has had 11 amputations due to the clogged veins of diabetes. I had one uncle with both legs amputated above the knee, another in a wheelchair, and my poor dear mom, one kidney removed, all teeth pulled and her right foot to a surgical knife. Anyway, I too am diabetic and I want to help broaden awareness to this disease.
